Help plant a forest for the future

Volunteers plant trees at Peachtree Hills.
One of my favorite groups is the Catawba Lands Conservancy.
This nonprofit group works to set aside land for public use such as parks and trails.
It also works with communities to improve that land. You can help do that by taking part in the TreesCharlotte/NeighborWoods initiative. This program has planted about 300 trees so far this year in Charlotte and is seeking volunteers to do more plantings on March 2 and 9.
